Wow!
That was one of the most entertaining animations I have seen in a while! Amazing work!

Great!
Definetly different than "Storytime with grandpa" but I still love the characters and expressions you use in your animations. I was expecting to laugh when I noticed the main character looked similar to the grandson, but NOPE. Got a little creeped out instead by the music. Great work though! 10/10
Thanks man! Wanted to try something different so people wont be like, bleh you stole from flapjack or something haha! Tired of hearing that crap
Wahoo!
Love watching DestructoBox! The last couple were a little shorter so it's nice to have a longer one to sate my need for more! This one made me laugh a few times, lumberjack graveyard haha
Considering this is an early attempt at flash
To be honest, Im half cut. But compared to what I've seen previous to this I'm going to be honest. After that crap I've seen today I was looking for something with a story which, by your intro, I thought this flash had something of. It was terrrrribly short, my first suggestion would be put in the extra few hours of a couple more scenes. Perhaps whats actually inside the house. The ghost being scared seemed like a little extra thing before the story unfolds to keep the viewer interested, not something the entire animation should be based around. Anyways these are my thoughts, considering what I posted on the previous pieces of garbage today I think this is fairly polite. No idead what your intentions of this animation were to be, but I hoped I helped in some way!
Well, yes and no... I mean so far I've done a Music Video, two parodies, and trailer. I like to keep things different with a short. By the way, what was the "garbage" you viewed?
Entertaining!
Personally I liked all the strange facial expressions and random actions (like him licking the dolls head). The voice acting was awesome, I was giggling the entire time. This is the style of animation I tend to enjoy though, I know some others might not get the humour but you got a ten from me meow! (and hopefully an A+)
Haha
This made me laugh at the end, didnt quite see that coming but it reminded me of Salad fingers from the start. The way the characters were drawn added a strange eeriness to it for me. 8/10 because the voice acting was a little on the quiet side
oh man
Im burnt out from my caffeine rollercoaster of a day, staring at the screen mindlessly and slightly giddy. As soon as you started fucking screaming and flipping out near the end I couldn't stop laughing at how intense it got. I watched this AFTER street fighter chode (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and I didnt care how sloppy it was. I know I don't hate anyone enough to make horrible animations for them, but I'm glad there is someone like you to make them! I mean that in the nicest way possible...or something. I'm going to fucking bed! 8/10 because my ears are ringing a little during the credits
I didnt expect that
Haha some strange dark force is telling me to 10 this, I enjoyed it even if you claim this is stupid. Plain, short, simple and made me laugh! Couldn't ask for more! P.S. I think the random unpredictability is what I enjoyed most
Pew pew!
Sucks that people give this a one solely based on their dislike of the game :p . I have awarded you a 9 on the other hand! I've worked with claymation and I know just how time consuming it is and I really liked the perspectives and sound you added to yours! I didn't give you a full 10 because you coulda put a liiiil more time in the characters (not saying they were bad by any means though!) keep up the good work!
I totally agree with you! I started animation 4 years ago and I did progress since then as this animation is 20fps. check out the rest of my work. This one was a bit rushed for the work of 4 days!
thank you very much for your comment! if I do make future animation, I will put more detail in my characters. :)
My review
I read your comments and took them into consideration. I actually thought the overall idea was pretty clever based on the criteria you were given. Did you get decent marks for the project? Some quick notes on things I'd change: 1. Add more sound (like you mentioned) 2. Maybe increase the framerate (30 fps seems to be standard these days) 3. Spend a little more time on the environment, for instance the field that the dragon flew over in the beginning could have used a little more depth and detail, as well as the rocks on the mountain instead of just using a radial fill of the same colour on everything. On the plus side! the characters looked pretty good! the "pokemon" style menu looked good, and like I said, the plot was good as well. These are only my opinions though, I'm no master animator or anything haha. Hope my criticism was helpful at least! you should get back into flash (like i recently did) and keep learning! good luck :D
Thanks for giving a well thought out review!
yes, i believe i got a 97 out of 100 for missing 2 sound effects where they clearly could've been used.
30 fps! are you crazy?! i woudn't have ever gone that high without someone telling me to!
as for the environment, you are right i should have at least used different fill colors, but for the first scene i thought it was a good way to convey detail without actually using detail, since i had such a short deadline, if i added any more i wouldn't have finished as much as i did. XP
Thanks again! i will keep this stuff in mind whilst i animate!
